A bit pricey to fix one pipe knowing exactly where the leak was and no mess but probably same as any company. Just so happy to have same day, quick service. We should have called them 3 days earlier instead of being on big company’s waiting list and be without water still. The two guys that came out we very polite and friendly. They worked quickly and cleaned behind themselves. Would definitely recommend these guys!!
Very professional and helpful scheduler. Gary, the lead plumber, knows his profession inside and out -- took him less than 5 minutes to fit an entirely new joint with two angles. His assistants were very friendly and competent. The repair was done and cost about $300 to $400 less than some other quotes I got. They gave me credit for digging the hole and finding the leak myself, but others didn't seem to factor this in although it would have taken them at least an hour to do this themselves.
I called Pete's Plumbing twice for a possible recheck (?) and could not get the courtesy of an answer to my call. Honestly, when Gary came by to clear clogs in two toilets (we have bad water pressure along with other things) he did what seemed to be a good job. The following week one toilet became clogged again. My houseguest had made the initial call for service and when I looked them up for service once again, I wondered if perhaps I was out of their usual service area. If indeed I was, I still expected the courtesy of a phone call explaining that to me. Never heard back from them. Thankfully my problem was resolved by my old standby, "Green Gobbler" purchased from Amazon with overnight delivery. I don't know about you, but courtesy is an important factor when I do business with a company.
I had several plumbers look for a mainline leak and could not find it. This went on for six months and kept leaking harder. My water bill was over $3000. Pete the Plumber came as a recommendation. He got on it so fast it literally scared me. He spoke to my insurance company and told me not worry after learning my financial delimma. Ok now what kind of plumber prays for you on the sidewalk of your home when u know u cannot envision how youre gonna pay. Im religious and thought I hope this man is not trying to prey on a weakness of a single elderly woman. He kept saying I'm not gonna leave u I'm gonna work with you . He did. He kept his word. That means a lot to me in times like these. I learned Mr. Pete was not only a great plumberwho is picky and professional but hes actually an honest man. I found him to be a great man who takes pride in his work. Together he and his son are a riot but the son is respectful even when he's right. Mr. Pete has the wisdom and his son has the energy. Wisdom and energy are a winning pair. I guarantee you you will be satisfied with Pete the Plumber and an extra dose of an excellent work ethics character and kindness, patience and a truly good sense to help with your plumbing issues. Than u Mr. Pete & son. You were great and I'm relieved finally. Thank you for peace of mind.
We have always used Pete's Plumbing for our plumbing needs and were very satisfied, but we are very disappointed with the service we received recently. We are in the process of remodeling our bathroom and requested two things: 1. to have them check our water pressure (as we have some problems) and 2. to consult with us on what plumbing issues we need to be aware of in changing to a free-standing tub (as so many people are doing) as well as quotes on the cost of doing so. Pete totally avoided checking our water pressure even though we asked more than once. He said didn't have a gauge to test and he would check it when they did the plumbing work. Secondly, all he did was try to dissuade us from converting the bathtub even though we said this is what we want. It wasn't that it couldn't be done but he just didn't feel that we should do it. After telling us all about his bathroom (which really was not what we were paying for) he mentioned that he shouldn't even charge us for the visit. But, he still charged us $87.50 anyway- for absolutely nothing. To add insult to injury I called four days after the visit to ask for a refund as we hadn't received the plumbing estimate. I was told that they would get us an estimate (this was two days before Thanksgiving). When I asked for the refund I was told that is what they charge for a consult and no refund offered. I told her not to send us an estimate as we will never do business with them again.
